When I decided to adopt a second Burmese kitten, it was important to me to find a cattery that does it out of love and adoration. This is how I found Claudia. She walked me through the whole process and I was immensely grateful for her help. She takes such a good care of her cats and kittens that when you meet them you instantly know they are living and growing in a household full of love. It’s been two months now that I’ve adopted Chai and I can confirm that she’s the most affectionate and well-behaved kitten. It took less than two weeks for Coffee and Chai to bond and become besties.

With Guus I have brought a wonderful Burmese friend into my home. Guus is very affectionate as well as beautiful. Claudia and her partner give their Burmese a loving start and Claudia remains committed to her cats after they leave. For example, she assisted me remotely with the introduction of Guus and Gijs, two males from other litters. The bag of presents I received also shows how much she cares about her kittens. I can recommend Cattery Burmadorable to anyone who is looking for the best cat breed there is.

We found Burmezen-cattery-Burmadorable online as we were looking for a very particular cattery for a Burmese kitten. We wanted a small, family operated cattery where the cats engage fully with the humans in a home. The fact that Burmadorable is in Holland was, for us, a plus as we had wonderful experiences before with a small cattery in the BeNeLux.

Claudia is extremely kind and careful, as she takes the same care in placing her kittens as she does in raising them. As she explained, Claudia does this for the love of the breed and to bring joy into the lives of people who love Burmese cats. Well, that certainly is the case with us. Our lives are filled with the joy of Garotinho Azul (little boy blue) our kitten from Burmadorable who came to us on April 15th, 2024.

Claudia went out of her way to attend to all the details and to simplify the complexities of my traveling from the U.S. to Holland to get Garo. She connected with KLM and arranged on my behalf to have a small carry-on animal in a carrier added to my ticket. Claudia ensured all the proper paperwork from the vet was in order; Garo has an EU Pet Passport thanks to Claudia. She recommended good, soft pet carriers for the flight and healthy food for after arrival - take note, almost none of the European cat foods are available in the U.S., so this required research. We discussed feeding Garo a bit on takeoff and landing to equalize the pressure on his ears. She drove Garo from Limburg to Schiphol Airport, where we met at a hotel and I saw Garo in-person for the first time. I can go on and on but the essence is we felt very well cared for and that Garo was very well cared for. So here I sit, with Garo snoozing in my lap. He is a very, very content cat in a very content family. We cannot thank Claudia enough.

Claudia made the whole experience of adopting Coco and Louis a really positive one. It was really clear that she loves her cats and that she’s completely committed to giving the kittens the best start in life. It was fascinating to see videos of the kittens from when they were born, to starting their adventures exploring Claudia’s house. By the time I got to take them home, they were used to all the sights and sounds of a home and were confident to explore (and quickly found their favourite places to relax). Coco and Louis are both very friendly cats. They’re always up for a cuddle (Louis often demands one, Coco is a bit more reserved) and I’m sure that this is thanks to the excellent start in life that they had with Claudia, Jos and their other cats and kittens.
